Nadine , my lovely grandmother was an amazing woman. We always looked foward to our birthdays, when she would make us a special cake with love. She would attend Mass regularly at St. James, and cherished the Lord. On Sundays, we would join her at church, and have Sunday breakfast, then she would come over for a family dinner. Nadine loved to read books to her little grandchildren, and be involved. She would take us out to eat for lunch at Lally's every once in a while, and Pizza Ranch to spoil us. When Nadine had an opinion, she was not afraid to share it. Although she always had a good meaning behind it. Nadine was always independent, and hard working. She would keep our family together for holidays, by making a special meal and dessert at her house, she had many toys for the little kids, and games for us older kids. Once in awhile I would ride up to her house, and chat with her. We would sit and enjoy a cup of morning or afternoon coffee. Sometimes, we would have a little game of cards or a board game. The silly thing about Nadine, was she loved candy, and did not mind if we hounded all of her candy, for she wanted us to be comfortable. Nadine was and will always be loved by the Sailer family and many others. Love, Riley Eppinga her granddaughter.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful woman and a great friend to my Mom over the years - both out at Neptune and after they both moved into LeMars. My sympathies to all of you!
