Hi! I was a student of Mrs. Held at East High. What an impact she had on my life! She encouraged me to go to college & become a Business teacher and I did! I always wanted to find her & tell her that her encouragement to be a teacher changed my life! I am currently teaching high school boys at Jackson Recovery who are going through alcohol/drug treatment & pray every day that I can impact their lives the way Mrs. Held impacted mine. I would like to share a beautiful Bible hope from God found in Revelation 21:3, 4 that assures us He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. I am so sad to hear about Evelyn. She was a remarkable lady, with class and a kind soul. I learned to love the friendship we had. We talked, shared, voiced opinions and she made a lasting impression on me. She taught me a lot and especially "how important it was " to have friends of all ages. RIP love you Evelyn
