To all Barb's family, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your Mom was a classmate and a special friend all through high school. She lived not too far and we often walked home together. Our husbands worked together for many years. When we retired and left LeMars, on visits we would always stop to visit and have coffee, while we caught up.One of you brought her to see me here in Texas, thank you for your faithfulness in seeing to her needs. I talked to her on the phone periodically, and had no idea she was failing in health. It was a shock to see the notice. I should have called more often. My memories of time with her are fresh like yesterday. May your faith sustain you and her memories keep her with you always, until that day when you will once again be a family together. God bless.

My condolences to the Korff families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Barbara. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
